Home safes and office safes

Safe opening in Elda, for safes at home and at work

A safe that will not take its code, a key nobody can find, a safe that belonged to someone who is no longer here to open it. Most open without being ruined, and every one is opened only for the person entitled to what is inside.

  • Ownership checked on every job
  • Methods that keep it usable first
  • Price agreed before work starts

Where the safes are

Safes in Elda’s offices and in its houses

Elda has around 4,000 businesses. In any of them where one person has opened the office safe for decades, the code can retire with that person. The guide to the office safe only the founder could open deals with exactly that.

At home, it is often a safe that came with a house, or one in a country property out towards Pinoso that sits unused for months while the owners are abroad and its batteries run down. Other locks on those properties are covered on locks on a finca.

Proof

Nobody’s word is enough when it is a safe

What is in a safe is exactly what a thief would want, so none is opened on trust. For a home, the deeds or the rental contract and your ID. For a business, a signed authorisation from whoever runs it, or the lease. For an inheritance, the documents that show who now has the right to the contents. If the papers are inside, the person entitled to them stays while it is opened and shows them there.

  1. A photo of the front of the safe

With the make and model plate if there is one. It often settles the method before anyone sets off.

  2. Proof of who may open it

Checked before any tool goes near it.

  3. The price, agreed before work starts

Once the safe has been seen.

  4. Opened, then reset

A new code or a new lock, so whatever anyone else knew stops working.

Safes in shops and offices often come with other jobs on the same premises, covered on work for shops and offices. If the safe was attacked in a break-in, start with repairs after a burglary. To send photos, use the contact page.

Questions

When a safe will not open

The keypad shows nothing at all when I press it.

Usually the batteries have run down. Many safes can be powered from outside for long enough to open them, or have an emergency key; a photo of the front of the safe tells us which kind you have.

The only person who knew the code is no longer around.

This comes up with family businesses and with inherited houses. Whoever now has the right to the contents authorises the opening, with the documents to show it, and the safe gets a new code or lock afterwards.

The code is accepted but the handle will not move.

Something is pressing on the bolts: the door has dropped, or the contents are jammed against it. Forcing the handle makes it worse, so stop and tell us exactly what it is doing.

Can the safe be used again after it has been opened?

Nearly always. Methods that leave it working come first. If a hole has to be drilled, it is placed where a new lock can be fitted, and only after you have agreed.

Do you also fit new safes?

Yes, in homes and offices. Tell us where it will go and what it needs to hold, and a safe is suggested that can be anchored properly to that wall or floor.

A safe between you and your papers?

WhatsApp a photo of the front of the safe. The make and model often decide the method.
